Jay Leno in the Warhammer Online Greenskins

September 14th, 2008 by 900001ing

An article that is about the Warhammer Online Greenskins posted on Massively.com. Do you think Jay Leno really prefer being a Gobbo in Warhammer Online or is it just that Gobbos are the only ones with big chins? Let’s read the details as following:

On first seeing this video, we’re not entirely sure what to think. Does Jay Leno really prefer being a Gobbo in Warhammer Online or is it just that Gobbos are the only ones with big chins? We’re guessing it’s the chin. You’re probably rightfully wondering why Warhammer Online is appearing on The Tonight Show. Well you’re not alone. Our only guess would be that this is some sort of preemptive strike at cultural relevance before the game is even out. Everyone knows that once a game has cultural relevance it’s just a matter of time until those subscription numbers start falling from the sky like nerdy rain.

It’s also probable that this is just an honest-to-goodness case of The Tonight Show taking an interest in Warhammer Online. Paul Barnett is there on that video doing his “Crazy Englishman on Crack” bit that we love him for doing. Either way, it’s a baffling video to watch and you’ll probably find your palm firmly pressed against your face by the end of its short duration. It’s after the cut, for those of you brave enough to watch it.

ArchLord Guides: Berserker Guide for Rookies Part One

September 14th, 2008 by 900001ing

Before we introduce the guide, we give a short glossary which is needed at some time in the Archlord.

AoE : Area of Effect, skill which attacks all mobs around you in a certain range
Single attack: as opposed to AoE, an attack which has only one target.
PvE: Player VS environment
PvP: Player VS Player
GvG: Guild VS Guild
Mob: monster
Build: the skills you have
Grind/grinding = PvE

Weapons

One-handed weapons allow you to use a shield (see armor section) for better defense, while two-handed weapons hit harder.

One-handed sword: Fast weapon, but low damage, it’s good at first when you kill mobs one by one. When you switch to AoE grind (see grinding section), it becomes useless. You can use it at the beginning, but you’ll have to reset any specific skill if you buy some, so beware.

One-handed axe: An option for PvP at low and mid-level. Slower than Blunt for levelling. See this thread until I put it in sticky, if I ever do

Blunt: most powerful one-handed weapon, therefore the one to use with a shield for PvE. It is also the best one-handed weapon for PvP at high level because the damage catches up the axe’s and you have stun shock.

Two handed weapons
You can’t use a shield with those, but you get more attack power. If you want to AoE as soon as possible, you will be looking at those weapons at lvl 22, when it is possible to get Swing Shot. With Linear Blow + Swing shot, AoE grind is really starting. And it is starting sooner if you use 2H than 1H.
Halberd is more powerful than Sword and therefore the way to go, since you will be using Lethal Attack (see skills section), unless you find a really cool sword with great green stats.

The “1-handed VS 2-handed” debate
This debate has been going on for quite some time now. Blunt + shield was commonly admitted to be the best option both for PvE and PvP.

Now with episode II, this has changed, because Faith Defender does not stack with evasion potions. If you use chantra, the difference in defence between the two options is now only the shield itself, whereas before it was the shield + faith defender. So both options are viable.

The difference is mainly for PvP, and for now there is no conclusion on which option is “better”, because maybe there is no “better” option. You have to choose which one you prefer. Blunt + shield gives you better protection and stuns + stun protection, and your role in GvG will be to jump in the melee, resist the attacks and stun people. A two-handed zerker will be more of a damage dealer, capable of taking down opponents a bit more. But you won’t have stuns, you won’t have stun resist (see skills section), and you’ll miss a bit of skill block from a PvP shield. It’s up to your fighting style.

Stoning a weapon
Assuming you follow my advice and use either a blunt or a two-handed weapon, here is basically what stone you should put in your weapon:

Elemental stones add elemental damage. Seems obvious, but there’s a difference between damage and attack. When putting elemental stones, always put the same element and same level of stone in one weapon. The element “activates” based on the type and level. For example if you put one earth stone and one water stone, on one attack you’ll get 3 earth damage, on the other 3 water damage. Now if you put 2 water stones, you will always get 2*3=6 water damage. Berserkers have no elemental bonus in their skills, so it doesn’t matter what element you use.

Attack prayer stones add to Basic Attack. What’s the difference with damage? Well, your damage is calculated based on your Basic attack. For example, a combat skill that gives 100% basic attack bonus will deal a damage of BA+BA*100% (BA = Basic attack of course). Attack prayer stones are a must at higher levels when your skill bonuses are big (around 200%). At low levels, it is maybe better to put elemental stones.

Cold prayer stone: this is a good compromise between price and effect. You can combine a cold stone with elemental stones of attack prayer stones. It gives +6 to +8 damage, with a small chance to slow the target on normal hits. We don’t care about the slow possibility, but +6 for a level 1 stone is a nice additional damage. You would need a lvl 3 elemental stone to achieve the same damage. At higher level, +8 for a lvl 3 is still nice damage, equal to an attack prayer stone in a 170% combat skill. Those stones are cheaper and maybe easier to put in than an attack prayer stone, so it’s not a bad idea.

Electric prayer stone: same as Cold stone, with a chance of stunning on normal hits

Deadly Poison prayer stone: crap, don’t use it

Accuracy stones: spare me the sight of an accuracy stone in a weapon please

Conclusion:
Best is : full of attack prayer stones
A bit cheaper : 1 cold stone, 1 electric stone, the rest being attack prayer stones
Cheapest option but still good : 1 cold stone, 1 electric stone, the rest being elemental stones of the same element and same level

That doesn’t end. More information are coming.

An useful stat guide for Warriors, Hybrid, and Healers Part One

September 14th, 2008 by 900001ing

Many 9Dragons fans are talking with me that they want to learn more knowledge about 9Dragons. We are go on trying our best to writing and collect more guide and knowlege of that every day. So keep on make your attention on our website…

About the STR vs. DEX build efficiency…

It was found thru many many restat & test while back (And the current implementation in the US server is in line with the setup that was tested by many). At the time unlimited number of restat was allowed as long as you pay 10K(first time), 100K(second time), and 1M(3+ time) for restat.
At the very first, all on DEX was found to be the most efficient build so many followed that route. Later Indy changed that due to user rants on class balance. Indy went with stat effects increase/decrese to address the class balance issues.

Many argue on the absence of RPG aspect of the game due to lack of distinct characteristics on different classes.

IMO, this game make perfect sense as the game is positioning itself as the true martial art MMORPG (This is probably the case for many asian players who have enough understanding on MA bacground).
In many (if not all) martial art stories, roles on classes are different than what you normally see on other MMORPGs.

For an example, unlike knights in fantasy MMORPG games, warrior classes in martial art stories are not the strongest most of the time. Healer/Hybrid type of classes are often found at the top with skills overpowering on all aspect including fighting skills (but it must be harder to be at that level than warriors) over warriors.

We are playing a game that is not yet fully implemented (This game has lvl cap at around level 120 with the shared fourth map). I think that the current balnace and role playing is quite good. But since there will be many new systems (skills, maps, mobs, quests, dungeons, and etc…) added later to fully implement the game, things can be changed very differently. I’m just hoping that the implementation doesn’t change too much of what they have planned initially. We have tons of fantasy MMORPGs already out there. I don’t want to see this game as another one of those.

Also I hope I can see more stories and backgrounds explained on the new website.

This guide end. More guides about 9Dragons are coming out.

Want to buy 9Dragons gold or 9Dragons power leveling? Go to THEpowerlevel. We will try our best to make you satisfy with our service.

2Moons Guide: Hunter - AoE Leveling Location Guide Part 2

September 14th, 2008 by 900001ing

I have introduced the 2moons leveling guides about level 1-50. But that is not enough. So I continue introducing it.

50+: I will post both soloing and grouping spots, but grouping is encouraged, cuz it’s more fun, less work, and fast exp.

50-56: Norak 2 (port from braiken) is best. Find a good AoE group, one with a healer, driver, and at least 1 more AoE class. The first 3 rooms of the left side are good. Have everyone follow the driver, who runs around the room, gather around 10+ mobs, stop and AoE them all. I found this the fastest way to level, if you have a good group. People always love to have a dagger hunter in their party. Make lots of friends, and you’ll get invited every time you log on .

56-64: Crespo (port from Parka Shrine). ya ya, you can go at 55 but many people will not want you in group, cuz you’re low level for the minibosses. go back to norak 2 if you can’t find an aoe group here. If you’re in a low level group, find smaller mobs area to AoE.

There is a spot here that you can level up very very fast. Some people call it the “SWEETSPOT”, or “HOTSPOT”, many call it “88″ spot. No, it’s not anything like 69 you perv! . It’s got that name because of the cord. 88:88 (NW) on the map. here mobs respawn very fast all around you. Have 1-3 pullers bring minibosses+mobs to the group depending on how many mobs your group can handle. FAST EXP!

I also tried dungeon, and disappointed at the exp rate due to lag, d/c, deaths,…and the nature of dungeon party downtime. Unless you have a really good party, leveling in dungeon is not reccomended. I found the 88:88 spot is faster to level. With a really really good party (with some Lv 70+), you can level in dungeon super fast. I know someone who went from 63 to 66 in ONE day doing lots of dungeon runs (I think 45+ runs).

65+: Draco dessert. I went all over the map and tried soloing AoE. AT Lv 65, the best solo spot is NW, front of the entrance to Norak 2. Exp rate here is pretty fast, I was getting around 3k each mob, and 4 mobs each round. This is the first fast exp, soloable spot since Nunvice. If you’re a good dagger spec, it beats 88:88 group hands down. 2 to most 3 shots and they are all dead. Bring lots of pots, and watch out for pkers, they will show you no mercy.

Grouping is another option, exp rate is similar maybe a little slower than soloing, but you can save some pots, and it’s much less work. I prefer grouping though unless I can’t find a group. At the time of this writing, there aren’t many players in draco yet, unlike Crespo. You will often not be able to find a group.

The fastest exp groups I found was ones training along the Eastern edge of the map. Split party into 2 groups of 3, first group starts at bottom SE corner, second group starts at middle-top. Then both run towards each other, meeting in mid way, bringing along all the mobs, then merge and AoE them all.

68+: If you can’t find group and want to solo, go to the SE corner of the map. Mobs here give 3.4k each, 3.8k with exp amulet. They repop fast. if you’re not a heal dagger, and keep dying, stick with the NW area and wait until you’re 69.

65-80: If you get tired of draco or have a good group, try dungeon. exp rate depends on how good your group is. Fastest way to exp here, like above, splitting your party into 3-3, and one group do an objective, while the other running to the next objective. a really good group is a must, or you will die. If done right, you will level really fast.

80+, i have not reach there yet

More guides are coming, waiting….

Of course, if you feel tired to reach high powerleveing and want to been high, you can buy game power leveling also. And our website have 2moons gold and 2moons power leveling. You can go to the related page and buy that.

Runescape Distractions and Diversions

September 14th, 2008 by 900001ing

RuneScape official site have good news: Distractions and Diversions. Enjoy it:

“When levelling skills or trekking around RuneScape, you might want to keep an eye out for some unusual goings on. This is because the Distractions and Diversions (a new type of game feature in RuneScape) are cropping up randomly, offering you some interesting experiences. We think you’ll enjoy being distracted by these new ways to train, as they can be fun and useful…

Balthazar Beauregard’s Big Top Bonanza:

The circus offers more than entertainment: it gives you the chance to be a star. Perform on the tightrope and show off your Agility, test your aim at the Ranged event, or blow things up in the Magic performance! Every week you’ll get the chance to show your stuff and earn great rewards in the process.

Penguin Hide and Seek:

What’s black, white and covered in leaves? A penguin pretending to be a bush! It may sound crazy, but it’s true. Ten penguins have gone incognito and infiltrated the lands of RuneScape. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and who wouldn’t?), is to track down these mischievous birds and report them to Larry in the Ardougne Zoo. He’ll reward you handsomely with XP or gold coins; so, the more penguins you find, the greater your reward.

You’ll need to keep your eyes peeled - the ten penguins will change location every seven days and have a tendency to wander about the place. Keep finding them to collect your reward.

Shooting Star:

Stars are falling from the sky, ripe with rewards! Mine the meteorite and you’ll get up to 200 pieces of stardust. Manage to get to the middle of the star and you’ll meet the star sprite, who will reward you according to the amount of stardust you have mined.

Watch out, though: there’s a two hour gap between shooting stars, so you should take advantage of the stars when you see them. Get a better idea of when (and where) they’ll fall by using your player-owned house telescope, but they’ll still be hard to find. The stars are big and slow to mine through, so they’re best mined by several people at once. Call on your friends to make your way to the middle with slightly more ease…

In other news…

Many items that are frequently purchased on the Grand Exchange have had their purchase limits increased so you can buy more of them at once. These include bows, poisoned darts, several dragonhide items, poh teleport tablets, pyre logs, bones, fruit and more!

Certain searches in the in-game world map, like “fishing guild”, wouldn’t yield any results. I’m sure you’re all angling to hear that the Fishing Guild is still in the same plaice, so you should sea that this problem has been e-ray-sed!

Two worlds (60 and 61) have been designated as suggested ‘Great Orb Project’ worlds. While we’ve noticed a fair amount of activity on worlds such as 1, 2, 6 and 9, these are the main trading worlds and are often near capacity or full. Therefore, we have selected 60 and 61 so that you’ll be able to log in straight away and join others who’re playing this minigame.”

The content above is quoted from official site news.

Our website have Runescape gold and Runescape power leveling. If you are interest in that, go to the related page.

Star Wars Galaxies: Update 4 Heading for Testing

September 14th, 2008 by 900001ing

Star Wars Galaxies has updated, the Update 4 is heading for TC Prime and the Test Center. In fact, at this writing, it may already be up and running.

The official patch notes include Highlights, Gameplay, Commando, Officer, Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Bounty Hunter, User Interface, Space, Collections, and Heroic Encounters. This note is too long to write here, so you can click here to read full information.

——————————————————————————–

Highlights:

* Commando, officer, and smuggler profession and expertise updates; new stackable damage over time effects; addition of a particle slider and other UI improvements.

Gameplay:

* Combat Modifiers, Block Chance, Dodge, Evasion Chance, Parry, Critical Hit and Strikethrough Chance are now under a diminishing return formula.

* Commandos and bounty hunters share the same armor break debuff. Both professions can stack the debuff to 5. Armor break on players reduces based on a percentage, while armor break on non-players is a flat amount. See the profession notes below for more details.

* Debuff purge abilities decrements a debuff’s stack. This means if you have a debuff with a stack of 3, and you use a debuff purge ability that will reduce/remove 2 debuffs, the stack is reduced to 1.

* Stasis can be used on beasts.

Commando:

* Commandos receive a free expertise respec upon logging in to Game Update 4.

* Commandos can apply stacks of a damage over time (DoT) effect up to an increment of 10. If two commandos are using the same elemental type weapon, they can both increment the DoT stack. If the owner of the buff stack switches weapons and applies a new stack of dots, the original stack will go away. If two commandos are using two different elemental weapons, both can have a stack of their respective elemental type.

* A new commando weapon has been added, the CC-V ‘Legion’ Cryo Projector. This is a cold elemental spray (flamethrower) heavy weapon.

* The Crusader M-XX Heavy Rifle elemental damage type has been changed to electricity.

* The C-M Frag Storm Heavy Shotgun elemental damage type has been changed to kinetic.

* Using heavy weapons with low action no longer give the +TOO TIRED+ message.

* The kill meter is incremented as the commando deals and receives damage.

* The ability Empowered Attack has been added to the profession wheel, which improved damage from rifles, carbines and pistols for a short duration. This ability consumes points from the commando kill meter.

* The ability First Aid Training has been added to the profession wheel, which improves healing effects for a short duration. This ability consumes points from the commando kill meter.

* The ability Double Time has been added to the profession wheel, which boosts the commando’s run speed for a short duration. This ability consumes points from the commando kill meter.

* The Cluster Bomb expertise has been added in the Commando expertise tree. When used, this ability will throw a grenade which will then fracture into multiple smaller bomblets over a large area. This ability consumes points from the commando kill meter.

* The Killing Spree expertise has been added in the Commando tree. When used this ability, fires an additional attack at a nearby engaged enemy when the commando attacks. This ability consumes points from the commando kill meter.

* Modified Killing Grimace increases the number of additional attacks made during Killing Spree by 1 per point.

* Blow Them Away has been modified to increase the bomblet count of Cluster Bomb by 1 per point.

* The Remote Detonator debuff is a -100 Precision maximum from expertise instead of -50 Precision. Its cooldown has changed from 120 seconds to 20 seconds. Its damage bonus maximum from expertise is now 100% instead of 60%.

* Armor Cracker’s name has been changed to Armor Shredder. This is a new ability that works identically to Riddle Armor except that it reduces the armor of any enemies within 5m of your current target.

* Riddle Armor and Armor Shredder apply the armor break debuff. Armor break may have up to 5 applications per stack and reduces NPC armor by 400 per application. Armor break reduces Player armor by 4% of player total per application.

* The base cooldown on Riddle Armor/Armor Shredder has been lowered from 30 seconds to 13 seconds.

* Improved Riddle Armor reduces cooldown on Riddle Armor/Armor Shredder by 2 seconds per point.

* Keen Eye only works with ranged weapons, including heavy weapons.

* When a commando activates Mirror Armor, any NPC enemy aggressiveness towards him is cut in half once.

* Diagnostic Armor has been modified to a 1 point expertise.

* Marksman is a new 3 point Tier 5 expertise connected to Heavy Ammunition. Each point spent reduces action cost by 4% for the commando if they are using a rifle or carbine.

* The expertise Suppressing Fire also suppresses movement speed towards the commando by afflicted targets.

* The expertise Improved Suppressing Fire increases glancing blow vulnerability of the target, movement suppression of the target, and cone width of the attack.

* Position Secured has been modified to grant 200 Strength in addition to existing functionality.

* Position Secured can no longer be removed by the player by right clicking.

* Improved Position Secured is a new 3 point expertise. Commando action cost reduced by 10% per point while in Position Secured.

* Base of Operations has been modified to grant 1000 armor and 5 critical chance to the commando and his or her group.

* Base of Operations can only be used while the commando is in Position Secured. This is no longer a standalone ability, but is applied automatically to the group if the commando enters Position Secured.
* Short Fuse is a new expertise below Packed Explosives. This is 1 point expertise that decreases the fuse time on the commando’s grenades by 1 second.

* Enhanced Luck is a new 2 point expertise added to the bottom of the Assault tree. Each point spent grants the commando 25 Luck.

* Added Special Lethal Beam special attacks purchasable in the Heavy Weapons expertise line.

* Added Special Focused Beam special attacks purchasable in the Heavy Weapons expertise line.

* A new ability, Stand Fast, is a one point expertise. Damage against the commando is reduced by 60% while Stand Fast is in effect. Stand Fast lasts for 12 seconds and is on a 10 minute cooldown.

* Improved Stand Fast is a three point expertise. Each point spent improves Stand Fast by 5% damage reduction, increases duration by 2 seconds, and lowers the cooldown by 2 minutes.

* Increased minimum damage range on Devastation bonus; maximum damage range remains the same.

* The Juggernaut heroic jewelry set cooldown has been altered from 15 seconds to 4 seconds.

* The Frontman commando jewelry set effects have been adjusted. The enrage ability cost has been lowered to 5000 health and the cooldown to 90 seconds, as opposed to 7500 health and 140 seconds.
